Rotomonkey and X got married last weekend on Block Island. This ended my marathon run of 12 weddings for this year. Now, to shop for the gifts.
The ceremony was beautiful. We took lots of photos. Block Island is a perfect place for a wedding. There is lots to do, it's very pretty, and small enough that you can easily get anywhere. We did some swimming, I did some running, we rented mopeds, we celebrated, got in trouble with the police, but overall just had a great time enjoying ourselves.
Rumor has it they got stuck on Block Island for a while when they were supposed to leave because of the remnants of hurricane Jeanne. Awww.....

The ceremony and reception were at the 1661 Inn. It was really absolutely ideal. The setting was beautiful, they took care of everything and were very friendly and mindful. the staff there noticed people weren't taking pictures at one point and picked up some of the disposable cameras and started taking pictures for them. Beautiful. Big enough to handle a crowd but still intimate. Really, a wonderful place.

Hi...I came across your pic's as I'm planning on having my wedding reception on BI in the summer of 2005. Can you tell me where the reception was held in the pictures? Was it the Harborside Inn or Spring House. Your pics are great! Thanks,
